Hello! I’m Kate Forry—wannabe plant enthusiast, lover of peaceful places, and the heart behind Glass & Fern Co.

I’ve always felt an immediate sense of calm the moment I step into a greenhouse. There's something about the filtered light, the quiet hum of nature, and the lush greenery that feels like a breath of fresh air. Pair that with my love of plants—and a home that isn’t exactly plant-friendly (thank you, pets and toddler!)—I knew someday I’d build one of my own.

So I did.

After finding the perfect greenhouse, I convinced my husband, Mark, that I could help pay for it by sharing it with others. Glass & Fern Co. was born—a peaceful, light-filled space designed to be rented and enjoyed by photographers, creatives, and those who also want to enjoy the calm.

Mark and I have lived on this property since 2016, constantly making improvements inside and out. In 2025 and 2026, my focus is on bringing beauty and intention to the interior of the greenhouse. From there, I’ll begin shaping the gardens around it to create a serene setting for both plants and people to thrive.
