My Greenhouse Journey: What’s Next?

So...I have a greenhouse. Now what?

It started with a simple goal: create a space that’s both beautiful and functional for my plants—and perfect for photos. But, as it turns out, both the inside and outside need a little love. Here’s what’s coming up in my greenhouse adventure:

Winter 2025 – Spring 2026: Leveling Up

  • Power it up: Adding electricity and proper lighting—bye-bye, extension cords!

  • Water, finally: Hooking up the spigot for easy watering. No more dragging hoses everywhere.

  • Grow big: Building raised flower beds that extend toward the back of the property.

  • Enclosure & charm: Fencing in the greenhouse area and beds, ideally with a vintage gate.

  • Stone pathway: Creating a practical and pretty path from the driveway to the greenhouse.

  • Soft edges: Landscaping around the concrete to make it feel seamless with the yard.

  • Everyday beauty: Crafting a setup where plants thrive and the space looks effortlessly picturesque.

  • Bridge refresh: Making the pond bridge safe, stable, and accessible.

Fall 2025: Getting Cozy & Ready

  • Diffuse the light: My ferns started to burn after just one day—oops! Window coverings will protect them and add a touch of privacy.

  • Soft entrance: Adding stone at the front will make that step up to the concrete feel more inviting.

  • Hide the spigot: Necessary but not exactly cute… time to give it a makeover.

  • Seating vibes: On the hunt for a bench, rattan wicker sofa, or wooden pew for daily comfort and photo ops.

  • Holiday magic: Planning a festive Christmas setup to add a little seasonal charm. If you’re interested in some early details & mini’s, reach out!
